  Charley's Chocolate Factory is a wonderful place to spend a few hours while visiting Mission Beach. The passionate owners and workers show you how they plant, grow, harvest, and make cocoa and chocolate, all on the premises. It's fascinating and delivered with great knowledge and good humour. A delicious local lunch is included, and you can stock up on the award winning chocolate at the end of the tour. Highly recommended!

  Do not come here with children. My daughter screamed after being bitten by a bug (which are common there) and they promptly kicked us off the tour. Without even asking her wellbeing, cash in hand, the lady walked up to us and told us we would be disrupting others. She made me collect all of our stuff whilst continuing her presentation without even acknowledging me. Honestly, never have I been humiliated as such. The tours take place twice per week and we had stayed an extra day in the are just to do this tour. It was a horrible experience.
